Zorya-7, Soviet Ukraine, April 26, 1987, 1:23 AM.
Reactor No. 7 has just stopped being a machine. No explosion, only a silent green light that settled over the city like fog.

You are liquidator 4471. Your mission: clean up the Zone. Your only hope: survive 20 waves until the helicopter arrives.

Zone 7 is a top-down survivor-like in PlayStation 1-style 3D, with wobbling textures, dithered colors and thick fog.

▸ Three maps, three nightmares

• The city: ruined apartment blocks, wrecked Ladas and walkers crawling out of everywhere.
• The Rassvet laboratory: the scientists of the secret project never left. Flickering neon, shattered tanks, blood on the tiles.
• Selena-7: a Soviet base hidden on the far side of the Moon, where the cosmonauts have become machines.

Each map unlocks when you beat the previous one.

• 20 increasingly brutal waves, with hordes that surround you.
• A boss at wave 10, then a final boss on each map that changes its look and attacks at half health.
• 20+ weapons and abilities: Kalashnikov, Molotov cocktails, high-voltage arcs, acid sprayer, cutting laser, razor discs, black hole…
• Weapons and bonuses unique to each map.
• Permanent upgrades bought with rubles between runs.
• An endless mode after victory, where enemies quickly become terrifying.
• 27 achievements and a 10-chapter story.
